Hi, my name is Dori Dean.
I have spent my career working in urban planning and local policy, building a deep understanding of how state funding works and why communities like Holyoke are too often left waiting for results. I am not running to learn the job. I am running to make sure it finally works for the people who live here.
Issues
Economic Growth & Jobs
Holyoke’s vacant mills are not a symbol of decline, they are an opportunity. Dori will fight for the investment and redevelopment tools needed to bring those buildings back to life, creating jobs and new economic momentum in the city.
Stronger Schools
Holyoke schools are owed funding under state law, and Dori will work to make sure every dollar reaches the classrooms where it belongs. Every child in this district deserves the resources to graduate prepared for what comes next.
Affordable Housing
Holyoke faces rising costs and aging housing at the same time. Dori will push for practical tools that expand affordability, restore neglected properties, and return vacant sites to productive use.
